What is StriveMatch?
A proof-first cricket platform in public beta. Players organise Performance Evidence and build Player Profile context. Verified Scouts conduct Independent Review on submitted proof. Verified Clubs use clearer evidence for Evidence-Based Assessment. Demo profiles are fictional samples. Advanced areas marked preview are not active yet.
What is Performance Proof?
Cricket evidence submitted for review via YouTube Unlisted links. For public beta, upload your cricket proof video to YouTube as Unlisted, then paste the link into StriveMatch. StriveMatch embeds the video for human review — it does not host videos yet. Direct YouTube upload from StriveMatch is planned as a future feature, not active now.
How do I submit a YouTube Unlisted cricket video?
Record your cricket proof, upload it to YouTube, set visibility to Unlisted (not Private — private videos cannot be reviewed), copy the link, paste it into Submit Proof on StriveMatch, preview playback, then submit for human review. Unlisted videos are not searchable on YouTube, but people with the link can view them.
Why is my video not previewing?
Public beta accepts YouTube unlisted cricket video links only. Private, deleted, or restricted links may not play inside StriveMatch.
How do proof sources work today — and what is planned?
Today, public beta uses Paste Video Link on Submit Proof. A future roadmap may include Connect YouTube Channel so you choose your own uploads — not live yet. Long-term in-platform upload and hosting may be explored only at significant scale with copyright, safety, moderation, storage, bandwidth, and legal planning — not guaranteed.
How does proof review work?
Review is manual. StriveMatch checks whether proof is playable, cricket-related, honestly described, and suitable for discovery.
How should first-time visitors start?
Explore Demo Profiles to see fictional samples, read Help and Trust Centre for public beta boundaries, then submit proof when ready. No account is needed to browse demos.
Is Player Passport an official cricket ID?
No. It is a proof-first profile structure — not an official ID, licence, certification, or selection document.
Is Cricket CV official paperwork?
No. Cricket CV is a concise proof summary — not official paperwork, accreditation, scholarship application, or employment contract.
What is Profile Reliability?
Frontend guidance (labelled Started, Building, Review-ready, or Strong profile) that helps players understand whether their profile has enough role, level, and proof context for review. It is guidance only — not a score, ranking, or rating.
What do trust badges mean?
Labels showing profile completeness, proof reviewed status, media link checks, or manual review progress. They do not guarantee selection, contracts, sponsorship, or official accreditation.
What do age group and competition level mean?
Pathway context labels. They vary by region and association. StriveMatch uses them for review context — not official selection.
What is Scout Review Trail?
A planned workflow for recording why a player was saved or compared. Supports human review — does not guarantee selection.
What is Club Need Fit?
A guidance workflow for clubs to describe what player evidence they need. Does not guarantee selection, trials, or contracts.
What is Proof IQ Guide?
Frontend guidance showing whether a cricket video has enough context for review. Does not guarantee selection or verification.
Can scouts contact players directly?
Private contact visibility is limited during public beta. Scouts should use respectful, evidence-based workflows with no outcome guarantees.
Does StriveMatch guarantee selection?
No. StriveMatch supports discovery and review. Scouts, clubs, and organisations make independent decisions. StriveMatch does not guarantee selection, scouting, trials, contracts, sponsorship, or club contact.
What happens to fake, AI-generated, or misleading proof?
Proof that looks fake, AI-generated, stolen, impersonated, manipulated, or wrongly described is held for media authenticity review by a person before it can appear publicly. StriveMatch does not auto-accuse anyone and does not claim to detect AI — a human makes the decision and may ask for more proof.
Can my account be restricted?
It may be. Minor issues get a request for clarification or more proof. Serious misuse can lead to a temporary 7-day restriction, and repeated misuse to a 30-day restriction or suspension pending review. Restrictions are reviewed by a human and access can be restored.
What cricket proof is allowed?
Honest proof you have the rights and consent to share — matches, nets, batting/bowling spells, wicketkeeping/fielding drills, fitness or skill drills, trials, and coach/academy-recorded clips. It must not be AI-generated, stolen, impersonated, manipulated, or wrongly described.
What should stay out of public proof?
Do not include private phone numbers, home addresses, school details, travel plans, or sensitive documents in public profiles or video descriptions.
What should younger players do before applying?
Involve a parent, guardian, coach, or trusted adult before sharing proof, applying for trials, arranging travel, or responding to interest.
How do reports work?
Reports flag unsafe contact details, junior-safety concerns, harassment, impersonation, misleading proof or stats, broken videos, inappropriate content, or video-rights concerns for manual review.
Where can I report a profile or video?
Every live player profile has a 'Report proof or profile' option near the proof video and a full report form lower on the page. Choose a reason, add optional context, and submit — you do not need to be logged in.
What happens after I submit a report?
Reports are reviewed manually as part of public-beta safety operations. There is no automated moderation and no guaranteed response time. StriveMatch may ask for context, limit visibility, or take no action if a report cannot be confirmed. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or the appropriate safeguarding authority first.
Will documents ever be uploaded for verification?
A future private/admin-only path may exist. Sensitive documents must never appear on public profiles.
Will AI ever help with review?
In future, AI may assist human reviewers with first-pass signals to prioritise the queue — it is not live today. AI signals only support people; humans make every review decision, AI-passed items can still get a human spot check, and you can always be asked for more proof.
Can scouts contact junior players directly?
During controlled public beta, junior contact workflows stay restricted. Parent or guardian involvement is required. Use platform reporting if contact feels unsafe.
What should a parent do if they are worried about contact after approval?
They should report it through StriveMatch and, if there is immediate danger or criminal concern, contact local emergency services or the appropriate safeguarding authority.
Does StriveMatch guarantee selection or verify every claim?
No. StriveMatch provides structured proof and safer workflows but does not guarantee selection and does not automatically verify every claim.
Does StriveMatch support female cricketers?
Yes. StriveMatch is intended for cricketers across the game, including women and girls. The platform is being reviewed to make pathways, safety guidance, and profile language more inclusive and accurate.
How are female junior players protected?
Female junior players should not share direct contact details publicly. Contact should stay on-platform, involve a parent/guardian, and inappropriate appearance-based or personal comments should be reported.
Does StriveMatch support multiple languages?
Multilingual support is in progress. Save your preference now — it is stored on your device only. Language preference does not affect nationality, eligibility, or player representation.
What is Eye Comfort?
A local accessibility settings page for colour, contrast, brightness, text size, and reduced motion on this device/browser.
How does Local Area discovery work?
You can optionally save broad city, state and country details to support regional cricket discovery. StriveMatch does not store exact GPS coordinates or track your movement.
Is Public Cricket Intelligence active?
No. This feature is a future-ready foundation visible for product direction only. Public comments, ratings, payments, supporter subscriptions, family access workflows, sponsorship support, and proof signal collection are not active yet.
Does StriveMatch have live scoring or streaming?
No. Media & Match Centre is a layout preview only — no live scoring, streaming, or official score feeds.
Is premium live?
No live billing is active. Premium scout, club, and organisation workflows are planned after public beta learning.
Why does activity look quiet?
Quiet dashboards and empty queues are normal. StriveMatch prioritises proof quality and honest launch readiness over fake volume.
Which countries are supported?
Designed for global cricket regions, with careful support for Australia, India, the UK, Pakistan, South Africa, New Zealand, and associate ecosystems.
What are demo profiles?
Fictional sample profiles that show how StriveMatch organises proof and review. They are not real users, organisations, or platform traction.
Where is the public beta launch checklist?
Founders and ops can use the launch checklist on the Public Beta page to verify technical build health, content truthfulness, player onboarding, scout/club workflows, moderation routes, and mobile readiness before widening beta traffic. Production SQL stays paused until database blockers are resolved.
What is Connect?
Connect is a future StriveMatch area for player networking, tournaments, sponsorship interest, academies, and guest player availability. During public beta, Connect is preview-only, locked, and hidden from public navigation while admin reviews each feature. StriveMatch is focused first on proof submission, human review, and trusted player profiles.
Can I pay for Connect during public beta?
No. Connect subscriptions and location-based welcome pricing are planned only and not active during public beta. StriveMatch does not currently take payment for Connect.
What are the planned Connect prices?
Planned welcome pricing includes India ₹99 for the first year and Australia/Western countries A$9.90 for the first year. These are planned pricing concepts only and are not active charges during public beta.
What advanced features are inside Connect?
Connect includes planned future areas such as AI matching, AI analysis, rankings, player comparison, sponsorships, public cricket intelligence, partner boards, pricing, family access, coach workflows, direct messaging, and marketplace concepts. During public beta, these features are preview-only, locked, and hidden from public navigation while admin reviews each feature.
Are AI matching or rankings active?
No. AI matching, AI analysis, and rankings are not active during public beta. StriveMatch does not use AI to guarantee ability, selection, trials, sponsorships, contracts, or opportunities.
Can players message, get hired, or receive sponsorships through Connect?
No. Direct messaging, hiring, sponsorship allocation, payments, and marketplace features are not active during public beta.
